Whoa there! Cody Simpson opened up to fans on Instagram more than ever before on Sunday, May 18.

The 17-year-old posted a nude picture of himself, showing off his bare bum while he openly embraced an ocean view off his hotel balcony. The "Surfboard" singer captioned the throwback pic: "Free. throwback to Sunday morning on the coast after a big one. surfed out too. how bout that tan. taken by bae."

"Bae" refers to Simpson's ex, model Gigi Hadid.

The picture didn't last long. Instagram and Facebook (where he also posted the image) pulled the pic from their sites adhering to their no nudity rules. Simpson then tweeted: "Looks like Instagram didn't like my ass."

Quoting a refrain from Beyonce's track "Yoncé/Partition," Hadid, 19, tweeted the same day: "Just tell me how it's looking babe, tell me how it's looking bae." Simpson and Hadid announced they were calling it quits earlier this month.
