According to reports, controversial GOP donor Steve Alembik, who had previously contributed to the campaigns of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and former President Donald Trump, died last week after attempting to commit suicide and murder. Alembik was pronounced deceased by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday, October 17, 2023.
Steven Alembik, 72, is accused by authorities of shooting a woman on October 10 before shooting himself in the head in a parking lot behind the BurgerFi restaurant in Delray Beach, at 7959 West Atlantic Avenue.
According to reports, the person thought to be Steven Alembik’s wife raced inside the restaurant after being wounded in the arm and back. She was transported to a nearby hospital, where she is currently healing from her wounds.Steven Alembik, however, was declared dead on the spot.
