Taylor Swift’s father is making headlines again, this time for allegedly assaulting a photographer as he joined his daughter in Australia for the recent Down Under leg of her Eras tour.

Scott Swift is being accused of engaging in an altercation with a photographer at Sydney's ferry wharves, after Taylor was seen leaving via a yacht, likely prompting photographers to try and take photos of her, which led to the incident.

Taylor Fled Australia After Her Father’s Alleged Assault

Local authorities refrained from confirming the identity of the individuals involved, although they disclosed that a 71-year-old man (the same age as Scott Swift) purportedly assaulted a 51-year-old man at Neutral Bay Wharf, around 2:30 a.m., as conveyed by a spokesperson from the New South Wales police to the media outlet.

Law enforcement officials further stated that the purported victim, who has filed a police report, did not necessitate any medical attention.

In response to the unfolding events, a spokesperson representing Swift has already addressed the situation in a statement provided exclusively to The Post, aiming to clarify what they describe as misconceptions about the incident.

“Two individuals were aggressively pushing their way towards Taylor, grabbing at her security personnel, and threatening to throw a female staff member into the water,” Taylor’s representative said in the statement.

Though police didn’t identify the alleged victim, his made his name known to the media in a subsequent interview with the Sunday Morning Herald in which he described how “sore” he was from the altercation.

“I was just out on the job chasing Taylor,” Ben McDonald of Matrix Media Group alleged.

I will sell a s*** load of t-shirts,” Scott wrote in the emails, expressing frustration at how much money he spent on launching Taylor’s career. "Who gets to go to New York, New England and every cool appearance? Not dad. Can't fix hair. Dad talks too much. Who pays for trips to New York? Dad."

"I am going to do anything that I think is appropriate to advance Taylor’s career,” Scott continued.

Moreover, In a different context, Scott appeared to subtly allude to his wife, Andrea, suggesting to the manager to communicate with her if direct interaction with him was undesirable, writing, "Finally, if you want to get rid of me, please forward this to Andrea."

The Swift family hasn’t publicly acknowledged the exposed emails, despite court documents confirming their existence.
